Information & Policies

  • Rental Hours
    • Tuesday thru Saturday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
    • No after hours rentals or returns.
  • Rental Terms
    • Daily Rate is 24 hours with a 30 minute grace period.
      • If returned after the grace period, an extra days rental will be charged. 
    • Weekend Rate: 3 days.
      • Pick trailer up anytime Saturday and return by 9:00 AM on Tuesday.
      • After 9:00 AM, an extra days daily rate will be assessed. 
    • Weekly Rate: Pay for 5 days and keep the trailer for 7 days, Tuesday thru Tuesday.
      • If the trailer is not returned by the 7th day, you will be charged the daily rate for every day for every day you are past the weekly rate.
    • Monthly Rate: 28 days.
  • Rental Requirements
    • Valid Drivers license
    • Current proof of registration and insurance for the vehicle being used to tow the trailer
    • Registered owner of the vehicle must be present.
    • The customer renting the trailer must also be present.
    • NO Rental Vehicles Permitted
  • Payment
    • Valid, major credit card -- No debit cards accepted.
  • Towing Vehicle
    • Must be of proper size for the trailer being rented.
    • Correct size hitch with tow ball and trailer light plug is required. For trailers with electric brakes, vehicle must have a brake controller - no exceptions.
  • Emergencies
    • Call the police first to gather an incident report and then notify your insurance carrier.

    • In case of theft, call police first for a report, then call Sandia Trailer Sales.
  • Cleaning
    • Trailer must be returned as clean, inside and out, as it was when picked up.  If it is not, a minimum $45.00 dollar charge will be assessed.
